The articles of association describe the corporate model adopted by the Company and set the foundations for the powers assigned to each of the governing bodies and the relationship between them. The articles of association also describe shareholders' rights and the manner in which these rights may be exercised or modified.
Galp Energia's articles of association may only be altered by the general meeting by a two-thirds majority of the votes cast.
