Energy and knowledge 
 

Regarding the Energy and knowledge subject, we create and support activities that promote knowledge about the energy sector and encourage the community to make behavioural changes in favour of the environment

Research and education

We promote research, rehabilitation, preservation and dissemination of the historic and industrial legacy of the energy sector, which contribute to generate a general understanding of several energy sources and their use.

 

Energy efficiency

The Galp Energia Foundation is especially focused on the need to alert and warn the community, primarily young people, to current environmental issues and the need to change behaviour towards a more rational use of energy resources and, therefore, environmental protection.

 

Renewable and alternative energy sources

We are involved in innovative projects related to renewable and alternative energy sources as a way of promoting a balanced and sustainable development.
