The following utilities are among the main utilities produced and distributed by this plant:
- Steam at several pressures
- Electrical power
- Cooling water
- General compressed air and compressed air from instruments
- Treated fuel oil
- Degassed water
- Demineralised water
- Treatment of condensed
- Raw water
- Treated potable water.
The installation is equipped with four aquatubular boilers of 150 ton/h, which produce steam of 82 bar to 520ºC. The steam distribution network works with the following pressure levels: 82, 42, 24 and 3.5 bar and also has four turbo generators with 20 MVA each, with extraction (25 and 5 bar steam) and condensation.
The connection substation to the electrical network has two transformers of 60/10 kv and 20 MVA. The electrical distribution network is composed of close to twenty transformation points with the following voltage levels: 10,000, 3,000, 380 and 220V.
There are three cooling towers with circulating discharges of 15000,9000 and 2,200 m³/h and it is exclusively dedicated to the alkylation unit.
The compressed air unit has nine compressors and three air dryers.
The demineralisation unit has four chains, all of which are composed of an ion exchanger, degassers, an anion exchanger and a mixed riverbed.
